Dr. Jung Lim completed his endodontic residency from the University of Pennsylvania, arguably one of the most prestigious post-graduate programs. He trained under Dr. Synguk Kim who is widely considered the pioneer of modern endodontic micro-surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in microbiology and molecular genetics from UCLA with honors. He then continued his studies in the Oral Biology masters program at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he eventually also received his DDS. Being committed to education, Dr. Lim currently is an associate clinical professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is the primary surgical attending for the section of endodontics at UCLA. He also serves as the course chair of the advanced endodontic diagnosis selective for pre-doctoral students. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter, Olivia. He considers himself to be a novice “foodie” and likes to explore restaurants. He is also involved with Catholic Charities and takes pleasure as a saltwater aquarist.
